Understanding the Foundations of Occult Sciences

Occultism is a vast field of understanding and practice. According to the concept of the "Will of God," the Divine Aether and the four elements of Mother Nature—Earth, Water, Fire and Air—together with the planets, are understood in traditional occult thought to shape creation, development, aura, destruction and renewal (evolution).

Planets are traditionally associated with geometric forms, lines and symbols in the palms, geographical directions, shapes, sounds, colours, numbers and more. Alphabet letters in any language are viewed in this tradition as micro-forms associated with planetary influences, forming one of the foundations of numerology. Other occult subjects also draw on these associations.

Yantras—specific forms, shapes and numbers—and mantras—particular sounds and pronunciations—are traditionally used together as remedial practices intended to connect with certain forms of cosmic or supernatural energy. However, such practices cannot be guaranteed to reverse the effects of time or destiny.
